The Littles Kit- Drunk Elephant

The Littles Kit- Drunk Elephant

Can you tell how excited I am about “The Littles Kit” by Drunk Elephant?

It was on my wish list for two weeks right when I needed some actives for my skin and right in time for the Harmattan season.

I had ordered for Obagi Vitamin C serum that was on my wish list for a minute. It came through the Pharmacy and was already rancid. I was so disappointed and decided to get Melamin and Melamix by Dr. Zein Obagi (as recommended by an Aesthetician). Seemed like every retailer in Nigeria was sold out or having challenges getting those products. So like a light bulb switched on, these sweet little things came through the mail after a couple of weeks.

The Littles Kit by Drunk Elephant

Drunk Elephant is the invention of Tiffany Masterson, who began to create products at home to tackle her skin problems. Eventually she identified half a dozen common skincare ingredients – she calls them the Suspicious Six – that she wanted to steer clear of: essential oils, silicones, sodium lauryl sulphate, chemical screens, artificial colouring and fragrance, and drying alcohols.- Irish Times

Absolutely lovely. I would now create a day & night skincare routine

The Littles Kit consists of seven bright pretty colours and well packaged skincare products ranging from 5-30ml. Pretty much travel -size. These seven are:

  1. No.9 Beste Jelly Cleanser
  2. C-Firma Day Serum
  3. B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
  4. T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
  5. Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
  6. Shaba Complex Eye Serum
  7. Lala Retro Whipped Cream

Now I find them to be fragrance free with light scents akin to the ingredients. I totally love the Cheeky names too, just like the company, Drunk Elephant. Haha.

I intend to use these for 30 days first and see what product is a hit or miss. Great way to try out certain products from this brand without splurging.

I couldn’t get to choose what products come in the kit but I could tell what types of Kit to choose from. For example, this Kit has all the actives I need right now (T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and the C- Firma Day Serum (Vitamin C)) and I’m thrilled to try out their Marula oil and compare it to the other Acure Marula Face Oil that I love so much.

A nice little pink leaflet comes with it. Full instructions and simple. Not overwhelming. Beginner friendly

Extra Points: This Kit came in a beautiful pink (Fuschia) toilet bag with a rubber- like texture. I could easily wipe to clean and it wouldn’t get soaked in water. I could also use this to pack up other toiletries when I’ve got to travel.

It also came with a pretty pink leaflet that gives good information about how to use products and a bit about the founder.

I got free samples of other products (from different brands); must have been from the store.

About The Brand

If you’ve ever wondered why the cheeky name, Drunk Elephant was chosen, their website explains:

The name Drunk Elephant is rooted in a myth that says elephants love to eat the fruit that has fallen from Marula trees where inside their very large tummies it ferments making the elephants drunk! We encourage you to “further research” this subject by searching “drunk elephants” on YouTube! –Drunk Elephant

Well, okay, Tiffany.

I would be reviewing all the products individually so you get to know if it’s a good idea to try it. You could also subscribe to get notifications too.
