Guys, I think I have just found the best Body Scrub Recipe for days.
I had some left from the last post on DIY Epsom Body Scrub with Lavender. I just added a bit more Essential Oils to it and I created a monster with this Body Scrub Recipe.
This one has a name. I call it The Fireplace.
It was only Boxing Day when I saw a recipe called Love- By Eden’s Garden. They snuck a recipe on me from my last purchase and I can’t thank them enough. I think it’s a pressie because my other orders didn’t have them. I’ll send a thank you email real quick.
So Eden’s Garden cooked up this recipe and it’s bomb. It’s not called Love for nothing. It’s extremely alluring and relaxing. The atmosphere seemed charged and I checked the recipe instruction that read it’s for couples. Ah! Anyway, with such poor lighting, I made a video supposedly for my YouTube channel. Sigh! I really should get proper Cameras and lights
This blend smells divine. Without Jasmine, it has Rose Geranium, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang Essential Oils (9, 6 and 8 drops respectively).
Woke up this morning with a lot on my mind and I thought to make compelling decisions. Without thinking, I took my favourite EOs along with the old jar of Lavendar Epsom Salt and whipped out the Best Body Scrub Recipe Yet! It’s capitalised for emphasis lol
All I did with this old batch, was to add 3 drops of Sandalwood, 3 drops of Ylang Ylang, 3 drops of Rose Geranium, 6 drops of Rosemary and THE BEST EVER, 4 drops of Vetiver Essential Oils and a full topper squirt of Rosehip Oil.
Preparation and Use
I mixed it all up with a dry spoon and headed to the bathroom. Already, the fragrance filled the room and got me excited. With a dry spoon, I scooped an estimated quantity for use.
With dry hands, I took a handful, sloughing away deadskin in circular motions, working from my feet upwards, in small batches.
You will notice the Body Scrub Recipe has a brown colour. It’s doninated by browns- Sandalwood Powder, Sandalwood & Vetiver Essential Oils
I stopped at the face and switched to a mild body scrub. After exfoliating, I rinsed off and continued my regimen. This time I included the Pine Bark Extract.
