It’s all about the Serums (especially Vitamin C Serums) and this is because they offer the skin a lot of treatments. This depends on the product and ingredients.
First off, this review should have been up a long time ago but I have kept procrastinating because I wanted to be sure I gave an honest review about this product but again, I might have been a tad late.
Vitamin C Serums play a significant part in Skincare. It is to be used after cleansing and toning the skin. Toning the skin keeps it helps prepare the skin to receive the next product applied and balances the skin’s pH levels to near neutral so it’s in the best form to absorb any product.
After you’ve used a toner, Vitamin C Serums are applied. If you are into the Korean Skincare Regimen, these Serums come after an Essence is applied.
Why Vitamin C Serums?
Although Vitamin C Serums are unstable and easy to oxidise due to expose to air and carbon dioxide, they are rich antioxidants which help fight free radicals. It is essential in promoting collagen production and enhancing the skin’s elasticity. These Serums are also magical by slowing down the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the skin. Vitamin C Serums do a great job at brightening the skin and tightening the skin. So why not?
Timeless Vitamin C Serum
I’m all for a healthy diet, eating the rainbows, taking Vitamin C supplements but topical application is equally as important.
Timeless was birthed as a natural serum by a California-based skincare company that promises to deliver effective and maximum concentration of skincare products with the use of less chemicals, more actives and zero parabens and cruelty free.
Timeless Vitamin C Serum is an anti-aging and brightening skincare product that promises to deliver all that Vitamin C does to the skin. It sits pretty on the skin and sinks in, leaving no residue. You might feel the skin tightening and you should also know the difference between tightening and drying.
This serum is for skin concerns such as dry/ normal or aging skin. Even better for uneven skin or high/ excessive pigmentation.
Timeless 20% Vitamin C+E+Ferulic Acid Serum has: Water, ethoxydiglycol, l-ascorbic acid (20%), propylene glycol, vitamin E, polysorbate 80, panthenol, ferulic acid, sodium hyaluronate, benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid.
I fell in love with the ingredients because Vitamin C is pretty much unstable and oxidise real quick but with the support of Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid, I am guaranteed quick penetration into the skin and less oxidation.
If your skin is sensitive to Vitamin E, use with caution and always do a patch test.
It is recommended to store in a refrigerator or in a cool, dry place.
How to use: Use this immediately after cleansing or toning. Put a few drops into palm and spread in a thin layer over skin. It is quick to absorb so allow to dry before applying the other products in your routine.
I use this twice, daily, morning and evening and I have quickly purchased the next batch because it is so amazing at brightening my skin and tightening. I find it a suitable dupe to the Skinceuticals Vitamin C serum as the active ingredients are the same.
This has lived up to my expectations so far and I have purchased again.
Tell me about the Vitamin C Serums you love. I’ll really love to check them out. If you liked this review, please subscribe and share this.
